THE CONCESSIONIST (04/30/24)
@ CANNON VALLEY CINEMA 10 (Dundas, MN)

I auditioned for a movie and got the part. A significant second role in Pecore-Kotek’s film, "The Concessionist." A French failed actor turned movie theater owner who gets the liking of the main protagonist, a young movie buff (played by Pecore-Kotek himself) looking for a job, and encourages him to pursue his dreams and become a movie director.
Three weeks of shooting, a lot of fun and good compliments on how acting or being in front of a camera comes naturally to me. The director also agreed to include my songs in the soundtrack. The Greenvale Manitou logo was placed here and there as fun Easter eggs during shooting.
Sadly, more than 70% of footage was damaged during a car accident after filming and Pecore-Kotek reluctantly abandoned the project. It remains a fantastic experience.

As a proud Breton, on St Patrick's Day, I love to celebrate my "Celtitude" in friendship with all eight surviving Celtic Nations, a cultural area and collection of geographical regions in Northwestern Europe where Celtic languages and cultural traits have survived. This includes Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales, Galicia and Asturias. To that end, all of these nations will be represented at the party.
Music-wise, we will be watching live video concerts from most represented Celtic areas. If you are a musician, please bring an instrument so we can jam together. You can expect some drumming for sure!
